Salman Iqbal, the Principal Owner of Karachi Kings, shared the last conversation he had with the late Dean Jones
Taking to Twitter, Iqbal shared the last voice recording he received from Jones in which he was discussing a young Pakistani talent.
“I spoke to you Dean Jones just this morning, we were discussing a young talent from Punjab,” he wrote.
Mr. Salman, much like the entire cricket fraternity, was extremely shocked by the demise of the Aussie great.
“Shocking! Utterly shocking! I spoke to you. You loved Pakistan cricket and u were always available to groom young talent. RIP my friend, still in a shock!! Rest in peace,” he added.
It is to be known that former Australian cricketer-cum-coach and commentator Jones passed away due to cardiac arrest in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon.
According to sources, Jones after taking breakfast was chatting with his colleagues. Suddenly, he fell down, collapsed and was taken to the hospital immediately. Upon reaching a local hospital, he was declared dead by the doctors.
