Virat Kohli’s childhood coach mocks Shahid Afridi

Rajkumar Sharma, childhood coach of India captain Virat Kohli, has mociked Shahid Afridi apart for the allrounder’s latest comments on Kashmir and PM Modi.

Boom Boom came up with yet another controversial statement a couple of days ago during his visit to the Kashmir region.

Afridi was reportedly in the region for providing essential items to the locals during the coronavirus pandemic. However, the explosive allrounder’s comments sparked massive outrage throughout the Indian media and cricket fraternity.

“I am in your beautiful village, I am very delighted. I was planning to visit you all from a long time. The world is currently infected by such a big disease. But the bigger disease is in Modi’s mind. Modi deployed 7 lakh soldiers in Kashmir, same as the total strength of Pakistani forces,” said Afridi.

As soon as the video surfaced online, Indians started slamming Afridi for his comments. The Indian cricket fraternity also lashed out at the ex-cricketer for his comments and now Rajkumar Sharma has joined the bandwagon too. Mocking Afridi, Rajkumar Sharma said that no one in Indian cricket takes Afridi seriously.

“Nobody in Indian cricket team takes him seriously. He was not even taken seriously when he was playing cricket. And he doesn’t deserve to because talking like this is not acceptable at any stage. Indian cricketers are sober and they don’t talk like this. They stand for their country but never abuse any other country or their PM. I think Shahid Afridi needs to learn a lot. He is a very negative sort of guy. Virat Kohli never talks about Shahid he is not that important that he should be talked about,” Rajkumar Sharma told Republic TV in an exclusive interview on Monday.

“I think Afridi wants to come in politics. Whosoever criticizes or abuses India becomes famous in Pakistan. It is their mentality. Shahid Afridi is moving in that direction. I don’t think anybody will take him seriously from now on,” he added.
