Pakistan pacer Rumman Raees has said that whatever he does is inspired from the great Shahid Khan Afridi.
Raees, who made his long-awaited comeback from injury in the inconclusive PSL season 5, is currently busy victims during the lockdown caused by the Coronavirus outbreak. Pictures of the Islamabad United bowler sleeping on a floor bed went viral across Social Media, after which fans started making comparisons with similar snaps from Shahid Afridi’s routine.
Commenting on the comparisons, Raees said that he would not hesitate to say that whatever he did, he had learned from Shahid Afridi and his deeds.
On his social media account, Roman Raees shared a photo and wrote that he hoped that he would follow in the footsteps of Shahid Afridi (Lala) and continue to serve his nation off the ground.
Afridi then thanked Raees for his kind words and for playing a role in the ongoing fight against the covid-19 crisis.
