Ramiz Raja names the 4 things that will make Pakistan cricket great again

Former national team skipper Ramiz Raja, in his latest youtube video, explained the 4 main things that he believes will make Pakistan cricket great again.

The former World Cup winner feels that implementing the Pakistan Super League (PSL) model at First-Class level will give the country’s domestic cricket a huge boost.

Replying to Test cricketer Kamran Akmal on Twitter, Raja highlighted how the PSL model can lift the country’s domestic cricket.

“To make it simple, just follow the successful PSL system/ model at the first-class level: cities, home & away matches, good pitches, overseas players, two& a half month window, sponsorship, tv. The fans will lap it up!” he wrote.

Kamra Akmal, who has often been vocal about the impacts the revamped domestic structure brought in, took notice of Raja’s tweet in which the cricketer-turned-commentator named 4 things that can make Pakistan cricket ‘great’ once again.

“Ramiz Bhai which domestic cricket structure is better the one you made Regions Cricket Structure OR the lastest One???” Akmal asked.

Many cricketers raised concerns in 2019 after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shut down departmental cricket and instead introduced a new domestic structure based on six regions. The decision was followed by widespread criticism throughout.
