The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to conduct online sessions of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy’s team ‘Central Punjab’.
Players of both 1st and 2nd eleven will take part in the aforementioned sessions. To kick things off, head coach Ijaz Ahmed will have 1v1 sessions with the emerging players.
In the second part, individual lectures will be given to batsmen, fast bowlers, spinners, and wicket keepers. Pakistan men’s team head coach Misbah-ul-Haq, bowling coach Waqar Younus, Chief Executive PCB Wasim Khan and Director High-Performance Nadeem Khan will also be invited to the lectures.
The main agenda of these lectures is to nourish the mentalities of the players. The sessions will provide the batsmen with much needed insights on how to adjust to the daily changing routine of the pitch in four-day fixtures.
Pacers will be briefed on how to perfectly utilize the new and old balls. Spinners and wicket-keepers will be made aware of their importance in the team.
It is to be known that last week, some of Pakistan cricket’s greatest ever players shared their knowledge with national men’s and women’s teams.
