Naseem Shah visits his mother’s grave on Eid ul Fitr

Teenage pace sensation Naseem Shah has shared a heartfelt Eid ul Fitr message on his Twitter handle.

The 17-year-old joined a barrage of sporting figures from the country to wish Eid Mubarak to the people of Pakistan.

“Khaake Marqad pe teri le ker ye faryaad aaon ga
Ab Duaae Neem Shab me kis ko me yaad aaonga?

First Eid without Ammi Ji, so I went to visit her Araamgah. My heart is also quite heavy for Karachi plane crash victims. Allah pak sab k liye asaani krain, Amen #EidMubarak #RiseAndRise” tweeted Shah.

Former fast bowler Umar Gul shared a heartfelt reply and sent prayers for Naseem Shah’s late mother.

“Allah apki ammi jan ko jannat Ul firdous main ala makam day aur ap sub ghar walo ko sabar. Akhtar day Mubarak sha.” Gul tweeted.

A few days back, Naseem Shah revealed that he feels mentally prepared for the England tour and expressed enthusiasm to perform well against the hosts.

In a statement, the blazing young pacer said that he is eager to learn from the experience of playing in England.

“This will be my first trip to England and I am looking forward to doing well there and learn by playing in England’s conditions and against English players. Of course, I am mentally prepared for the tour and I am zealous to deliver for my team and country,” he said.
