PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani will host the meeting via teleconference. Sources close to the board suggest the PCB will take board members in the loop for new appointments in the national team and High-Performance center.
Among other things to be talked about in the meeting are approval of 2020-21 budget, approval of the Cricket Model Constitution, review of amendments in the Provincial and City Cricket Association constitution.
PSL 5 knockouts?
Meanwhile, the PCB oard will also talk about finishing the knockout round of the inconclusive Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5. The mega-event was called off just before the semi-final stages due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. The board is looking forward to contesting the knock-out rounds sometime later this year once the ongoing crisis eases.
Moreover, PCB will also brief the board members about preparations for the upcoming ‘bio-secure’ England tour. A squad of 29 players will leave Pakistan in the last week of June.
